But I will tell you that the sets are mouthwateringly beautiful, (I love all the colors and designs,) and the singing voices of everyone involved, especially Jordan Fisher who plays Aladdin and Josh Adamson as the villain, are fabulous.
With a cast full of recognizable faces from Bruce Vilanch who plays Aladdin’s mother, Richard Karn playing the Sultan, Ben Vereen playing the Genie, and a worthy cast of supporting actors it’s the stars, Ashley Argota and Jordan Fisher that truly steal the show. I was in awe when Jordan belted out Ray Charles’ “You Don’t Know Me”. His voice was truly expansive, his emotions raw and beautiful, and his singing and sense of self was incredibly evolved. This young man sings with such soul!

It would be unfair to say that young Jordan Fisher steals the show, but he does come pretty close with his great voice and uncanny acrobatic movements about the stage and into the audience. He makes an Aladdin to root for, a downtrodden street rat who becomes a prince charming through luck, a lot of magic and a strong belief in wishing for what you really want.
